MEET LAUREN
Lauren Denysek, born and raised in Saskatchewan, discovered her love for the performing arts early on. Her training is extensive, completing the ADAPT syllabus in Tap and Jazz, as well as the graded and vocational Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, holding an A.R.A.D. designation. Lauren’s versatility spans hip hop, street jazz, contemporary, lyrical, heels, and beyond, with additional training in voice, musical theatre, drama, percussion, aerial arts, and a certification in personal training. She brings over a decade of teaching experience, including faculty roles at Vancouver’s Harbour Dance Centre, where she taught a range of styles and disciplines.
For the past six years, Lauren has toured internationally as a dancer and aerialist with Royal Caribbean International and recently stepped into the role of rehearsal choreographer. Her work extends to film and television, with credits in Disney’s Descendants 2, Riverdale, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and Legends of Tomorrow. Known for her strong technique, engaging performances, and professional dedication, Lauren’s reputation shines on every stage she graces.
Beyond the stage, Lauren’s passion for the arts includes Visual Communications. Holding a diploma in graphic design, she specializes in social media marketing, helping brands connect with audiences far and wide.
Lauren combines her experience as a performer and student to inspire and educate others. With a warm and lighthearted approach, she builds positive relationships that encourage others to reach their potential and pursue their passions wholeheartedly.
